A website you can run yourself, designed properly
No-code web design means a site built on a platform you can log into and edit, rather than one that needs a developer every time a price changes. The design is custom. The maintenance is not.
Most of our clients come to this because an existing site has fallen behind the business, or because there is no site at all and a template chosen alone is not producing the right impression.
-
A page structure built around what visitors are actually looking for, rather than the order the pages happen to exist in
Visual direction that carries your existing brand, or a new one developed alongside the site
Responsive design, so pages hold together on a phone as well as a laptop
Your content placed, formatted, and edited for the web rather than pasted in
The site built and configured inside your platform, ready for you to publish and maintain

Squarespace
Our default for small business sites. Easiest to maintain without help.

A conversation about the business. What you sell, who buys, what the site has to do, and what is going wrong with the current one.
Structure first. We agree the pages and what each one is for before any design happens, because this is where most website projects go wrong.
Design. You see the home page and one inner page early, give direction, and the rest follows the approved direction.
Build. Pages are built in your platform, your content is placed, and everything is checked on phone and desktop.
Handover. You get the login, a walk through editing the parts you will actually change, and the site goes live when you are ready.

This works well for owner-run businesses, practices and studios that need between three and twelve pages, want to make small edits themselves, and do not need custom functionality built from scratch.
It is a poor fit for sites that need a booking engine, a membership area, etc. Once we understand your needs, we’ll determine if this is a good fit for you.

FAQ
Do I need a brand before a website?
Not particularly. If you have a logo and some consistency already, we can design around it. If the site is going to be the first proper expression of the business, positioning and identity work first will save rebuilding the site a year later.
Can I edit it afterwards?
Yes, and the handover is built around that. Pages are put together so the things that change often, like prices, hours and photographs, are the things easiest to change.
Who owns the site?
You do. The account is yours, the domain stays in your name, and nothing is held on our side.
